Energy prices have been on a rollercoaster ride the past few years, and the invasion of Ukraine upended the entire supply/demand framework. The path ahead for energy—and related investment opportunities—will be defined by how today’s “power problems” are resolved.
Register now for the latest from the AB Disruptor Series as Rick Brink, our Chief Market Strategist, and a panel of energy experts zero in on critical issues in the energy story:
- Oil prices have retreated lately but are still high—how does oil find its equilibrium from here?
- Europe is struggling to adjust to natural gas shortfalls: we’ll assess near- and intermediate-term options.
- Renewables—once mainly a focus for battling climate change—are now a key cog in replacing energy-production gaps. We’ll review the current state and viability of renewable energy.
- The Inflation Reduction Act allocates massive spending to incentivize renewable producers and green-friendly consumers—how will it all play out?
- Russia has weathered sanctions so far, but something has to give. We’ll discuss the long-term energy appetite of Russian consumers and logistical challenges in rerouting supply.
