Tom is the Chief Investment Officer of Transamerica Asset Management, the mutual fund arm of Transamerica. Tom has more than 30 years of investment management experience and has managed large mutual fund portfolios and separate accounts. As a member of the senior management team, Tom heads Transamerica’s thought leadership efforts and provides perspectives to advisors, clients, the media, and general public. He writes and publishes Transamerica’s Market Outlook and other relevant commentary. He also heads Transamerica’s mutual fund sub-adviser selection and monitoring process, as well as product management. Tom holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Tulane University, and an MBA in finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
