More than $75 billion has been invested in Qualified Opportunity Zones (QOZs) since the government program was created under the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017. On this webinar, Origin Investments Co-CEO David Scherer will discuss the QOZ program’s background and detail the significant tax advantages provided to those who invest in a QOZ using capital gains, such as tax deferral, reduction and elimination. Plus, he’ll provide an overview of Origin’s QOZ Fund II, which is currently accepting new commitments. The first Origin QOZ Fund closed in July 2021 after raising more than $265 million from over 800 investors.

In this webinar you will:

  • Understand what a Qualified Opportunity Zone (QOZ) is and why the program was created
