He has been dedicated to assisting his clients in working towards their financial goals for over 20 years. Regarded by clients as “thorough” and “innovative,” Alex has served as a financial consultant to many successful professionals, business owners and retirees. Alex received a business management degree from Pepperdine University. He began his career working at a nationally-recognized financial institution and an accounting firm. Alex entered the financial consulting business in 1997, founded Chalekian Wealth Management in 2003, and later founded Lake Avenue Financial in 2014.

Pete Dorsey
Chief Strategy and Revenue Officer

Pete recently joined Altruist as the Chief Strategy and Revenue Officer where he leads Altruist’s go-to-market strategy and overall growth of its platform, products, and services. Pete has been in the independent RIA industry since 1999 and has held numerous leadership roles throughout his career, most recently where he was responsible for leading all institutional sales functions including advisor recruitment, practice management consulting, relationship management, and sales strategy for TD Ameritrade Institutional.

Teddy Levitt

Teddy has been with Altruist for a little over a year as our Manager of Client Development. Prior to that, his most recent role was as a Vice President, Financial Advisor in the private client group at AllianceBernstein. Before AB, Teddy was a relationship manager for Causeway Capital Management from 2012 - 2017. From 2010 to 2012, Teddy was a financial analyst for the Parks and Resorts division of The Walt Disney Company, focusing primarily on external communications. Teddy has a BA in International Relations from Stanford University and an MBA in Finance from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
